Egyptian president's visit to bolster economic ties

Cairo, Oct. 30 (BNA): An economics expert has stressed the importance of the Egyptian President Abel Fattah Al-Sisi in bolstering economic cooperation between the two brotherly ciountries. Former International Monetary Fund (IMF) official and the Economics Professor at Faculty of Economics & Political Sciences, Cairo University, Dr. Fakhri Al-Faqi said that Al-Sisi's current visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain is within the brotherly relations and joint cooperation between Arab countries. Speaking to the Cairo-based Sada El-Balad TV channel, he affirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain is a key regional financial centre, being the home to many branches of international banks. He added that the visit can enhance Bahraini-Egyptian relations in the trade, investment and banking fields.
