Economist: China-Iraqi Economic Cooperation Will Contribute To Flow Into State Budget

He noted that "the nature of the reception indicates China's opening to Iraq through the possibility of the implementation of electricity projects through Payment on credit in addition to the possibility of postponing payments retrieval of Chinese oil companies operating in Iraq in the provinces of Basra, Maysan, and Wasit," adding that "reaching agreements in this regard would strengthen the position of the local budget and the creation of investment opportunities for Chinese companies in several sectors including energy and infrastructure through the creation of a genuine economic partnership with Iraq. " Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi had visited China last Tuesday with an official delegation including the ministers of defense, oil, culture and a number of officials and advisers.
