Doha Insurance Reports QR 21.31 Million in Net Profit

Doha, April 21 (QNA) - Doha Insurance Company disclosed the interim financial statement for the three month period ended March 31, 2013. The financial statements revealed a net profit of QR 21.31 Million in comparison to QR 21.24 Million for the corresponding period in 2012, the company said in a statement. The Earnings per Share (EPS) amounted to QR 0.83 as of March 31, 2013 versus QR 0.83 of the same period in 2012. Doha Insurance Company (Q.S.C.) is a Qatari shareholding company registered and incorporated in the State of Qatar under Emiri Decree No. 30 issued on 2nd October 1999. The Company was formed in 2000 in response to the need for growth in the insurance industry, warranted by unprecedented accelerated economic expansion in Qatar as well as the enactment of laws encouraging investments.
