Doha Insurance Increases Capital by Issuing Bonus Shares

Doha, February 29 (QNA) - Doha Insurance Company announced that the general assembly approved the proposal of the Board of Directors to increase the capital of the company by distributing bonus share to the Shareholders at the rate of 30% i.e. three shares for every ten shares, so the new capital will be QR 234,000,000 divided into 23,400,000 shares, value of each QR 10. In a statement issued by (Qatar Exchange) website, Doha Insurance Company said that it approved the proposal during a meeting of the Ordinary & Extraordinary General Assembly held Sunday 29 February 2012. Doha Insurance Company (Q.S.C.) is a Qatari shareholding company registered and incorporated in the State of Qatar under Emiri Decree No. 30 issued on 2nd October 1999 and was listed on Doha Securities Market in 2001.
