Doha Insurance Company QR 41.4 Million Net Profit

Doha, August 02 (QNA) - Doha Insurance Company disclosed the semi annual financial statements for the period ending June 30, 2012. The reviewed financial statements for the period ending June 30, 2012 revealed a net profit of QR 41.4 million in comparison to QR 37.5 Million for the same period last year, the company said in a statement. The company's Earning per Share (EPS) amounted to QR 1.77 as of June 30, 2012 versus QR 1.6 for the corresponding period in 2011. Doha Insurance Company (Q.S.C.) is a Qatari shareholding company registered and incorporated in the State of Qatar under Emiri Decree No. 30 issued on 2nd October 1999. The Company was formed in 2000 in response to the need for growth in the insurance industry, warranted by unprecedented accelerated economic expansion in Qatar as well as the enactment of laws encouraging investments.
