Credit card spending in Turkey is on the rise in Turkey
ISTANBUL (A.A) - Credit card spending is on the rise in Turkey according to "Visa Europe: EU Consumer Spending Barometer" report prepared by Visa Europe's Markit Economics survey company.
Visa Europe Turkey Country Director Nur Oztin Kurak, commenting on the results of the report, stated that the results they obtained in Turkey market in 2010 was in parallel with the results of surveys carried out in European countries.
Kurak said, "number of consumers spending money by using credit cards in Turkey is gradually increasing. Share of credit card spending in Turkey in total consumption expenditure increased 3 times in the past 10 years."
