Manama, May 11 (BNA): The CEO of Bahrain Bourse (BHB), Shaikh Khalifa bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, said that the volume BHB trading has grown by 144.32 percent since 2012, pointing out that the Bourse was currently studying applications to enlist local and Gulf companies.
He told Al-Ayam newspaper today that the volume of trade performance has risen by 144.32 percent since 2012 as a result of launching a series of solutions to activate the bourse market, including facilitations to entry of investors in the BHB and to lower the cost of dealing for investors through transactions over the internet.
The BHB has issued its rules by the end of 2014 for stock brokers from Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) to enter the BHB which will have its positive effect on stock trading, hoping that Gulf stock markets and bourses will follow our example to become a unified platform and allow investors to deal in all GCC bourses.
