Business Association Conference's Expo Opens

Doha, December 04 (QNA) - UAE Minister of Foreign Trade Sheikha Lubna bint Khalid Al Qasimi and HE Chairman of Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani, along with Chairman of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sheikh Saleh Abdullah Kamel inaugurated today in Doha the exhibition being organized on the sidelines of the second conference of the business association in member states of the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC) . After the inauguration, they toured the exhibition, which includes pavilions for a number of Islamic countries and financial and banking institutions financing the projects in the member countries. They were also briefed on the different wings of the expo, which provides an opportunity for business owners to hold meetings. Three working sessions on the services offered by the Islamic Development Bank group and its vision to work together with the businessmen and the young businessmen in the OIC countries were held. The conference aims at providing appropriate opportunities for businessmen and businesswomen in the Muslim world to take advantage of the financing options offered by non-profit financial institutions, in addition to creating a culture of conscious investment among young businessmen, especially in the agricultural field.
