Business and Trade Minister Calls for Supporting Trade Sector

Doha, January 28 (QNA) -HE Minister of Business and Trade Sheikh Jassim bin Abdul Aziz Al Thani has underlined the need for continued constructive contacts and cooperation between the public and private sectors to address the challenges of the trade sector as a joint responsibility between the two sides. Addressing the panel discussion 2012 between the Ministry of Business and Trade and the Private Sector, HE the Minister said that such contacts would result in positive policies that contribute to developing the growth of trade sector in the State. HE Minister of Business and Trade called for providing storage areas with competitive cost for the Small and Medium-sized companies. The panel discussion held last Thursday in the presence of HE the Minister of Business and Trade, HE Chairman of Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry (QCCI) Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani, and HE Chairman of the Qatari Businessmen Association Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani discussed a host of issues related to the trade sector including means to support warehouses and stores for small and medium enterprises in the domestic market.(QNA)
