Best Buy says bows out of Turkey
ISTANBUL (A.A) - 22.02.2011 - Electronics retailer Best Buy said it decided to withdraw from Turkish market due to global expectations, the company announced on Tuesday.
The U.S. company said it would close its two stores in Izmir and Ankara.
Company executives said exit plans had nothing to do with company's performance in Turkey.
Best Buy will continue Turkey operations for a couple of months more and fulfill its legal and commercial commitments made to customers and business partners, the company said.
