BCCI launches Varsity Startup Challenge 2015

Manama, Nov. 16 (BNA): Coinciding with the Global Entrepreneurship Week2015 and in a bid to support Bahraini youths and encourage a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, the Enterprise Initiative Center of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) is organizing a contest for college students themed "Universities Startup Challenge 2015". The contest will take place November 17-18 in the Chamber’s premises and will embrace four teams each comprising 10 college students from Bahrain. The winning team will be the one which succeeds in producing a superior and applicable Business Action Plan for its university. In this regard, BCCI's CEO Nabeel Al Mahmood highlighted the importance of the Global Entrepreneurship Week in supporting and encouraging youths, adding that the Enterprise Initiative Center has taken many strides to empower youths and streamline their entry into the market.
