BBBF welcomes CPISP graduates

Manama, May 17 (BNA): The Bahrain British Business Forum (BBBF) presented a three-year free membership for graduates of the Crown Prince's International Scholarships Programme (CPISP) from British universities who are currently working in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The BBBF's chairman Khalid Al Zayani welcomed the new members during its general annual meeting, hailing the vision of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister in supporting the educational and training programmes, including CPISP aimed to provide best opportunities in tertiary education institutions to high-achiever Bahrain students to prepare them for the labour market to participate in national development. The Bahrain British Business Forum aims to create sustainable business environment and build new commercial and investment bridges between the two friendly countries and to boost mutual economic interests of the s member companies. All 450 members of the forum benefit from the expertise of businessmen and businesswomen from across the sectors. The forum organises a monthly luncheon to which it invites all of its members to discuss various matters pertaining to trade affairs. The forum also hosts notable guest speakers who lecture on various topics related to the field. The forum also cooperates with the British Embassy in Bahrain in organising functions pertaining to trade and business and provides information regarding local and international trade expos. The director of CPISP, Dr. Cynthia Gessling who chairs the forum appreciated this initiative which reflects the commercial sector's keenness on supporting outstanding Bahraini youths and providing them the opportunity to benefit from significant expertise.
