BaPDA magazine first edition published

Manama, Aug. 23 (BNA): The Bahrain Property Development Association (BaPDA) issued the first edition of its (Property Development) magazine. The magazine provides a media outlook onto this major economic sector. The real estate development sector contributes 14% into the Kingdom's GDP and operates 16 other sectors. The sector is considered the second largest in Bahrain next to the banking sector. The association's chairman, Arif Hijris, said the new magazine aims to promote the property development industry, provide media platform to showcase the efforts and initiatives of the association and also contribute to boosting suitable legislative environment for real estate development. The magazine discusses the solutions offered by experts and the relevant sides about the problems, includes digital reports about Bahraini and GCC real estate industry, boosts relations with partners and association members and brings the efforts of all real estate development firms to the limelight. The association's chairman launched the new edition with the editorial theme "New Steps" in which he reviewed the development of the legislative environment in the light of the issuance of Property Development Law 28/2014 and Law 66/2014 regarding stalled property projects and its ramifications
