Baku airport cancels several flights due to weather conditions

Azerbaijan, Baku, Feb. 8 / Trend R.Darakhshan / Baku's Heydar Aliyev International Airport canceled a number of flights Wednesday morning due to bad weather conditions in Azerbaijani capital, an airport employee told Trend. Flights to Ganja (departure time 9:55 am), Tbilisi (departure time 10:10 am) and Tehran (departure time 10:35 am) carried out by small ATR 72 and ATR 42 airliners were canceled. In addition, BD 928 London-Baku flight (arrival time 7:35 am) was unable to land and went to the alternate airport in Tehran. Severe storm began early Wednesday morning in Baku.
