Bahrain business delegation visit to Tunisia discussed

Manama, Dec. 11 (BNA): Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) discussed in a meeting headed by its Chief Executive Officer Nabeel Al Mahmood and Tunisian Ambassador to Bahrain Mohammed bin Yusuf the preparations for a future visit by a Bahraini business delegation in the first quarter of 2016, to benefit from the economic cooperation agreements which were signed between the two sides to bolster trade relations and boost the volume of economic exchanges. Al Mahmood affirmed BCCI’s keen interest in boosting the bilateral relations through activating the private sector’s role in order to activate joint investments and underscored the importance of overcome the obstacles facing the bilateral trade exchange. He highlighted the impact of exchanging visits between officials on upgrading trade and economic bilateral relations. The Tunisian ambassador expressed his country’s keenness on supporting various areas of trade and economic bilateral cooperation and welcomed bolstering cooperation mechanisms between BCCI and its Tunisian counterpart so as to serve the joint economic interests. He welcomes the visit of the Bahraini business delegation to Tunisia and expressed thanks to BCCI for the constant cooperation to find common ground for bilateral economic and trade cooperation. They explored ways of enhancing bilateral economic relations, exchange of visits between trade delegations and hold joint economic events aimed at identifying opportunities in both the countries.
