Bahrain – Egyptian economic cooperation discussed

Cairo, Mar12(BNA) Finance Minister Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa has today met his Egyptian counterpart Hani Qadri on the eve of the "Egypt Economic Development Conference Egypt the Future", which will be held in Sharm El-Sheikh on the 13-15th of March 2015. The ministers discussed financial and economic cooperation, stressing the importance of fast-tracking the agreement on avoiding double taxation which will boost, once endorsed, trade exchanges and investments. The two sides have discussed the demand of Bahrain's national carrier, Gulf Air, to increase its flights to Egypt. His Majesty the Kings' participation reflects Bahrain's keenness on the success of the high-level symposium so as it could achieve its pre-set objectives. A high-level delegation representing key sectors is taking part in "EEDC.. Egypt the Future", including telecommunications, oil and gas, petrochemical industries and tourism.
