Azerbaijan to receive repaired train carriages back for international routes

Azerbaijan, Baku, April 5 / Trend, E.Ismayilov / In late May or early June, CJSC Azerbaijan Railways will receive the train carriages sent earlier to Ukraine for repair, Azerbaijan Railways spokesman Nadir Azmammadov told Trend on Thursday. He said the company's 50 carriages were sent to a Ukraine factory for repair due to lack of technology being available for major repairs of passenger carriages in Azerbaijan. "Upon their return, these trains will be used on international rail routes," Azmammadov said. At present, JSC Russian trains have been running services to Moscow and St. Petersburg since February.
