Azerbaijan announces tender as part of large highway reconstruction

Azerbaijan, Baku, April 5 / Trend E. Ismayilov / The Azeryolservis Company under the Azerbaijani Transport Ministry announces a poll of interests for consultative services within the reconstruction project of the Mingachevir-Bahramtepe road, the company said. Along with checking and renewing a detailed road reconstruction project, a consultant will also assist in conducting the initial selection and tender. The project covers the Bahramtepe Mingachevir highway with a length of 156 kilometres. The process will cover the construction of a two-lane road with a width of 7.5 metres (2 X 3.75 m). The design speed for the flat roads will be 100 kilometres per hour, for the elevated areas - 80 kilometres per hour and in the city, 50 kilometres per hour. The contract operations will be carried out within three contracts: Lot 1 - Mingachevir - Mingachevir Station, Lot 2 and 3 - Mingachevir station (Aran) - Bahramtepe. The proposals must be submitted in written form no later than April 25 (up till 17:00 local time).
