Alba supports Postsecondary International Network Conference

Manama, Nov. 4 (BNA): Aluminium Bahrain has demonstrated its support towards initiatives that develop the youth of Bahrain through its sponsorship support for world renowned Postsecondary International Network (PIN) Conference, held in Bahrain on November 1-6. Hosted by Bahrain Polytechnic the PIN Conference 2015 will be held under the theme ‘Experiential Learning and Work-Readiness’. Alba today hosted members of the PIN Conference who met the Company’s Chief Executive Officer, Tim Murray, and Executives, Directors and Managers. The visiting delegation were given a tour of the smelter and briefed about Alba’s Training and Development department, the company’s operations and facilities as well as its position as a leading smelter in the world. "As a Bahraini company, we believe in supporting initiatives that enable young Bahrainis to acquire professional skills that will equip them to be tomorrow’s business leaders," Alba’s CEO Tim Murray said. "Alba’s sponsorship underlines the Company’s support towards the Economic Vision 2030 of the Kingdom of Bahrain, in which education is as an important pillar in the economy of Bahrain." A signing ceremony was held at Alba to commemorate the sponsorship support.
