Alba Library opened

Manama, May 12 (BNA): Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba), one of the world’s leading aluminium smelters, recently opened the ‘Alba Library’ established by the Company’s Chief Executive Officer, Tim Murray. The Library is an initiative by the Executive Management of Alba to develop a reading culture amongst its employees. The Library is open to all employees and comprises fully array of business books. It also offers membership to Tim’s Book Club, which is very popular with the employees and provides three levels of attainment based upon the completion of certain books. Commenting on the new Library, Murray said: "At Alba, we believe nothing is more important than education. Reading plays a major role in an employee's career development and we feel the Company has an obligation to develop people's reading skills."
