Alaq: The Participation Of The International Community In The Preparation Of The Kuwait Conference Ensures Achievement Its Objectives

Baghdad, Iraq (NINA) - The Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers Mehdi Al-Alaq met with representatives of various international embassies in Baghdad in addition to representatives of international organizations working in Iraq to inform these parties about the steps taken by the Iraqi National Team and the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development And the World Bank for the success of the Kuwait Conference for the reconstruction and development of Iraq, which is scheduled to be held in February 2018. Alaq, according to a statement of the Secretary of the Council of Ministers, explained the importance of the studies carried out by the Iraqi side of the Ministry of Planning and the National Investment Authority in cooperation with the World Bank, in addition to supporting studies in cooperation with the United Nations Human Settlements Organization, which will be the cornerstone in attracting investment and grants to the Iraqi side which suffered heavy war losses on behalf of the world's nations.
