Al Meera to Distribute Hassad Rice

Doha, January 28 (QNA) - Al Meera Consumer Goods QSC (Al Meera) and Hassad Food, Qatar s large agriculture and livestock development firm have announced a deal which will shortly see Al Meera s outlets all over the country selling Hassad-branded rice, Al Meera comapany said in a statement . The agreement falls in line with Al Meera s strategy to expand both its stores and product offerings to the general public. "We are humbled and proud to have inked this agreement with Hassad," said Al Meera s Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Mohammed Al Qahtani. "Hassad has been at the forefront in providing food security to Qatar, and our distribution agreement is a further sign of our commitment to the country and its communities as Hassad is a 100% Qatari company, he added Hassad s rice, sold under the brand name Nathry , will be shortly available at all Al Meera stores in five, ten, and forty kilogram bags. There are also future plans for Al Meera to offer more Hassad products. (QNA)
