Al-Hadba Ship Returns To Khor Al-Zubair Port After A Full Round Around The Earth

Basra / NINA /- The General Company for Maritime Transport, one of the formations of the Ministry of Transport " announced receiving of the Iraqi ship Al-Hadba, in Khor Al-Zubair port, which conducted a full round on the Earth with a distance of 15400000 nautical miles and a distance of 19200000 nautical miles back and forth. The general manager of the company, Mohiuddin Abdul Razzaq Al-Emara, said in a statement that the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) received a copy of it, "The Hadba ship recorded a success that the Iraqi ships had not seen before, as it transported various cargo to the most important ports of the world after it sailed from (Umm Qasr port -to the United Arab Emirates -Canada - Los Angeles- Guatemala –Panama- Congo - Liberia, Bangladesh, India, Sultanate of Oman, Saudi Arabia - Khor Al-Zubair Port). He added, "Al-Hadba vessel implemented all the requirements of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and the French Classification Authority and the requirements of all international ports that entered it. While the manager of the technical department of the company, Eng. Amer Ibrahim indicated that al-Hadba completed a full course on the globe because it crossed the Pacific, Indian and Atlantic oceans and entered important ports, and no technical breaches were recorded against it, according to its entry certificates for the ports. It is noteworthy that al-Hadba ship was built for the Iraqi naval fleet in South Korea in 2014 with a load of 17,500 tons. / End
