27 deals recorded at Turkmen Mercantile Exchange last week

Azerbaijan, Baku, Jan.9 / Trend V.Zhavoronkova / As many as 27 deals were registered at trading sessions of the Turkmen Mercantile Exchange last week, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan (TDH) reported on Monday. Entrepreneurs from the UK, Russia, UAE, Afghanistan and the Virgin Islands purchased diesel fuel produced at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries, gasoline, hydro treated diesel fuel, aviation kerosene, low sulphur fuel oil and polypropylene in foreign currency. Liquefied gas from the Naip terminal and iodine from the A technical brand (State Concern Turkmenchemistry) became the subject of business deals from the UK, Afghanistan and Ukraine. Additionally cotton yarn, cotton fibre and yarn waste were also purchased in foreign currency. The total value of deals with the UK, China, Switzerland, Russia, Singapore, Ukraine and the Virgin Islands amounted to $157.425. Local entrepreneurs purchased polypropylene for domestic use worth over 38,436 manat. The official exchange rate is 2.85 manat to $1. Do you have any feedback?
