Baku, April 25, AZERTAC
Within the Italy-Azerbaijan University project, the ADA University and University of Bologna are implementing the first short-term joint certificate program on agriculture and food system management.
“Agriculture is the second most developing sector in Azerbaijan after the energy sector. We need good specialists in this field,” said Rector of ADA University Hafiz Pashayev at the inauguration of the first short-term joint certificate program by ADA University and Italy's Bologna University.
The Rector said that the first steps for the program had been taken in June last year as a group of experts from Bologna University came to Azerbaijan. According to him, the program comprises 33 people, including participants from the private sector, the public sector, and research institutes.
The main goal of the program is to bring together researchers and those who work in the agricultural sector and to enhance knowledge and hone their skills.
