London hosts "Zayed and the Dream" play in August

Abu Dhabi, June 22, 2010 (WAM)- The stage of the London Coliseum in the British Capital will host "Zayed and the Dream" play on the 1st and 3rd of August, 2010. This comes under the efforts of Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage (ADACH) to organise a series of global plays.
Zayed and the Dream play was produced by ADACH in implementation of the directives of H.H. General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and its first show was on the occasion of the UAE's National Day in December, 2008.
More than 100 artist and poet are participating in the play, whereas this piece of art is an illuminating artistic vision inspired by the march of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, founder of UAE, and validated by the authenticity of the region's heritage and roots.
Last May, more than 6500 Parisian audience enjoyed the two shows of the play "Zayed and the Dream" held at Le Palais des Congr s Theatre in Paris with the attendance of diplomats in Paris, officials from the UNISCO and the Arab World Institution, cultural figures in addition to Arab community and Europeans.
The play continues its international tour after the great success of the show in Beirut and Abu Dhabi. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
