KOREANS WANT TO CONSTRUCT HOSPITAL IN ULAANBAATAR

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ The Metalkat Korea Company of the Republic of Korea wants to build a new hospital in Ulaanbaatar under financing of long-term loan from its government. They estimate that USD 40-50 million is required to construct the hospital.
At a meeting with Deputy Premier of Mongolia M.Enkhbold, a president of the Metalkat Korea Lee Myon Gu introduced this proposal and shared views on it. The Korean company president requested support and assistance from the Deputy Premier in delivering a loan request on required fund for hospital erection to the Ministry of Finance of Mongolia and the Finance Ministry of the Republic of Korea.
The Koreans consider that it will be more productive to construct a new hospital with 500 beds rather than renewing old hospitals in Ulaanbaatar. This new hospital is supposed to have been equipped with state-of-the-art techniques and equipment with installation of a laboratory to struggle against swine flu /H1N1/ virus.
The Deputy Premier advised to submit detailed information on project to the Ministry of Finance of Mongolia and to authorities of the UB city administration.
Finance Minister S.Bayartsogt was present at the meeting. As he said he will give a response after reviewing the loan issue.
The Metalkat Korea company realizes a number of such projects and programs in many countries.
