Tehran, June 9, IRNA - Deputy Minister of Science and Technology said on Sunday that Iran and Syria have signed three accords on technology and science in the first session of joint commission held last week. Alireza Jahangirian said that Iran and Syria inked the agreements on biotechnology, seismology and laser according to which the two countries' research centres would broaden their cooperation. Syrian students will be admitted to Iranian universities for post-graduate studies and the Syrian academics will have access to Iranian research centres in line with the memoranda of understanding, Jahangirian added. - End.
