GOLOMT BANK BECOMES "THE BANK OF THE YEAR FOR MONGOLIA"
Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ The Banker’s 10th Bank of the Year Award Ceremony, held on 3rd December 2009 at the InterContinental Hotel in London, announced Golomt Bank of Mongolia as “The Bank of the Year-2009”.
As the longest established and most reputable journal in the global financial and banking sector The Banker, independently appraises and acknowledges the best banks drawn from commercial banks in around 150 counties and six regions around the world evaluating their financial performance, reliability, corporate governance, market position, innovation in customer services and products, introduction of new technology and achievements of the year and annually grants the prestigious “Bank of the Year” Award.

In addition, Golomt Bank strengthened its partnership affiliation with Credit Suisse, the only leading international commercial bank with an equity related interest in Mongolia. The Bank was selected by American Express as its exclusive acquirer bank and by the International Air Transport Association as its exclusive Billing and Settlement Plan Bank in Mongolia. While constantly expanding correspondent banking relationship with leading international institutions, Golomt Bank established internet payments and settlement services in collaboration with both Agricultural Bank of China and Industrial and Commercial Bank of China.
