Abiding by law is country’s current need: Rafsanjani
TEHRAN, Dec. 1 (MNA) – Expediency Council Chairman Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani stated here on Monday that abiding by the law is what the country currently needs most.
“Moving within the borders of the law is the country’s current need and we should all try to abstain from actions beyond the law or illegal actions,” he said in a meeting with instructors from AmirKabir University of Technology in Tehran.
He also said all those loyal to the Islamic system especially intellectuals and university teachers should make efforts to address the younger generation’s questions and provide answer to their ambiguities.
Rafsanjani expressed hope that people will have more opportunities to air their views and make constructive criticism in the future.
