Iran taekwondo team ranks second in world
– Iran’s Taekwondo Team obtained the second place in the WTF World Taekwondo Championships held in Denmark from October 14-18.
Winning a gold, one silver and three bronze medals as well as 55 points, the Iranian Taekwondo Team ranked second after South Korea which stood at the first place in the world sports event.
Spain and Turkey ranked third and fourth respectively.
The Iranian winners of different medals are respectively Mohammad Baqeri-Mo'tamed, Reza Naderian, Meysam Baqeri, Yousef Karami and Hossein Tajik.
Iran has been holding this place for four consecutive years.
