Iran, Malaysia have higher capacities for broadening cooperation

Head of Malaysia Development and Trade Center referred to Iran’s distinct role in the region and said that Iran and Malaysia have higher capacities for broadening commercial and economic cooperation.

Talking to IRNA Saturday, Nahareddin Noureddin Added that Iran can play a crucial role in commercial exchanges between the East and West given its location between Southeast Asian and Middle East countries.

Malaysia seeks to use the capacities, he noted.

Referring to the interests of the two countries in different fields, he further noted that the two countries’ Islamic economies and banking system is another pivot for them to promote their cooperation.

Describing Iran as a linking bridge between Malaysia and Middle East, Noureddin clarified that there are still some untapped capacities for the two sides to use them for broadening ties.

Iran and Malaysia can promote their imports and exports to each other and to achieve this, they should have an understanding about their import and export capabilities, Noureddin said.

He also expressed his country’s willingness to have an extensive presence in Iran’s market.
