Qashqavi refutes Egyptians’ unreal anti-Iran claims

Foreign Ministry spokesman Hassan Qashqavi on Wednesday dismissed Egyptian officials’ 'unreal' claims about Iran and said "We do not consider such claims in line with interests of regional nations and states."

“We consider such claims far from realities of the region. We don’t know why such claims are raised against the Islamic Republic of Iran, despite Iranian officials’ self-restraint and good-will towards Egypt,” questioned Qashqavi.

Qashqavi said, “We believe such claims do not serve the interests of regional nations and states. Iran’s stances and policies in support of the fundamental rights of the Palestinian people are an honorable strategy and a source of pride for Muslim and Arab nations at a time when the Zionist regime has impudently embarked on judaizing the ancestrial lands of Palestinians and other regional countries.”
