Hezbollah leader highlights Iran's contribution to regional peace

Leader of Hezbollah of Lebanon parliamentary bloc on Sunday highlighted status of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the region saying Iran plays effective role to solve regional problems.

Mohammad Raad told IRNA in Beirut that the regional states would witness developments that benefit them due to Iran’s opposition to the hegemonic powers and the Zionists.

Iran is the major supporter of the regional countries to help them thwart pressure from Israel and its supporters, said the Lebanese leader.

He added that Iran is playing a leading and strategic role to bring stability to the Middle East region.
