KSrelief Implements Medical Projects in Damascus under Saudi Amal Volunteer Program

Damascus, November 12, 2025, SPA -- The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) implemented five medical projects in Damascus, Syria, from November 2 to 9, under the Saudi Amal Volunteer Program.
The projects covered pediatric surgery, urology, the Noor Saudi Project, a prosthetics and physical therapy initiative, and specialized medical clinics. Forty-seven medical volunteers representing various specialties participated in the mission.
During the campaign, KSrelief’s medical teams examined 491 patients at specialized clinics, conducted 184 physical therapy sessions, and fitted 60 prosthetic limbs. They performed 321 cataract operations, 199 urological surgeries, 103 pediatric surgeries, and 60 corneal transplants.
The efforts are part of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing humanitarian and volunteer medical programs implemented through KSrelief to support vulnerable and affected communities for the Syrian people.
