Over 6 thsd houses commissioned in Kyrgyzstan since beginning of year

6 thousand 275 individual residential houses with a total area of 800.6 thousand square meters have been commissioned in Kyrgyzstan.

The press service of the National Statistics Committee of the republic reported that this figure is 1.3 times more than in January-August 2023.

Commissioning of individual residential houses increased in all regions of the country, except for Batken and Osh Oblasts, as well as the city of Osh.

In January-August 2024, KGS 21 billion 159.3 million of investments in fixed assets were used for the construction of individual residential houses, which is 1.6 times more than in the same period of last year.

The main share of commissioned individual housing (74.3% of the total volume) falls on Jalal-Abad, Chui, Osh Oblasts, as well as Bishkek city.

In rural areas, 540.0 thousand square meters of individual housing were commissioned, or 67.5% of the total volume of commissioning.
