Efforts Made to Increase Freshwater Resources

 Pyongyang, June 10 (KCNA) -- Kaesong Municipality of the DPRK directs efforts to the protection of freshwater resources.
The officials and workers in its fish farming sector applied natural and artificial egg-collecting methods effectively to boost the fish production 1.2 times.
The Kaesong municipal breed-fish station built or rebuilt hatching facilities and introduced profitable fish farming methods to discharge much more fry than planned. It also established a gravity-fed water supply system to raise fish on a mass scale while taking a nutrient care of breed-fish.
Such progress has been made at other fish-farming units of the municipality. -0-
