Russian FM urges political approaches for Iran's nuclear problem

Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said Iran’s nuclear program should be settled through political approaches and peaceful means.

Lavrov added it is unlikely that Iran’s leadership stances on country’s nuclear program could change" so we have to be ready for such stances".
IRNA quoting Russia’s news sources on Saturday reported that Lavrov, who is in Trieste, Italy, told Russian reporters that negotiations with Iran for settling country’s nuclear program should continue through political and diplomatic ways and international community should be patient in this concern.
A Russian online daily, Vezgilad, wrote that Lavrov has urged participating ministers of G8 meeting in Italy to be cautious in facing with Iran’s issues.
The source continued that Lavrov had proposed his counterparts in Italy to enter into negotiations with Iran.
In related news, Moscow Post Newspaper wrote Iran’s government is under a spiritual leadership who determines internal and foreign policies and that Iranian leaders enjoy an special position and credit among their nation.
Russia’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman Anderi Nesterenko told IRNA on Saturday that his government underlines its stances toward Iran’s peaceful nuclear program and called on Group 5+1 members to continue negotiations with Iran through diplomatic channels.
