Qatar Participates in Global Labor Market Conference in Riyadh

Riyadh, December 13 (QNA) - The State of Qatar participated in the Global Labor Market Conference (GLMC), which kicked off on Wednesday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in the presence of a number of Their Excellencies ministers, ranking officials, government representatives, employers, and worker from all over the world.
       HE Minister of Labor Dr. Ali bin Smaikh Al Marri headed the State of Qatar's delegation at the conference.
       The State of Qatar's participation in this global conference comes as part of its efforts to enhance communication with countries around the world and international organizations and to discuss the latest developments in the labor sector.
       The conference aims to shape a platform to develop innovative solutions that include the current challenges facing the labor markets and establish international laws and standards, policies, and programs to strengthen the workforce that develops the future and enriches the workplace.
       It also discusses demographics and labor market transformations, the importance of future education and training skills to address the gap in the labor market, and reveals innovative practices for developing educational programs and curricula adopted by employers and governments. (QNA)
