Social and Sport Contribution Fund, Ministry of Social Development and Family Sign Financing Agreement to Support "Dreama"

Doha, December 10 (QNA) - The Social and Sport Contribution Fund (DAAM) signed a financing agreement with the Ministry of Social Development and Family to support The Orphans Care Center (Dreama). This agreement reflects the pioneering role played by (DAAM) and the contributing firms that are listed on the Qatar Stock Exchange in support of community development and social activities, in line with Qatar National Vision 2030. The financing agreement includes enhancing the financial well-being of the center’s children and activities, including the Dreama’s story collection, which aims to have positive impact on orphaned children and enhance their positive and creative thinking. The story collection also highlights important points such as empowering orphaned children, supporting foster families in raising and nurturing children, and raising social awareness regarding this matter. Dreama Orphan Care Centre was established in 2002 with the aim of providing necessary care for this unique group of society, ensuring their stability in alternative foster families, integrating them into the community, and raising awareness about the importance of fostering. Since 2013, the center has been operating under the umbrella of Qatar Foundation for Social Work, which is under the Ministry of Social Development and Family. Sinc its inception in 2010, Daam has laid the foundation stone for many vital projects and initiatives in the social, sport and cultural fields, and the contributions of companies listed on the Qatar Stock Exchange are considered among the fund’s most important financial resources, making them an essential partner in achieving sustainable community development.
