HH the Amir Bowling Cup Due to Begin on Thursday

 

Doha, November 28 (QNA) - HH the Amir Bowling Cup competitions organized by Qatar Bowling Federation (QBF) will begin on Thursday at Qatar International Bowling Center in the individual and mixed categories until Dec.9.
       The QBF, headed by Abdullah Al Qattan and the auxiliary committees have completed all preparations to launch a new, strong and distinctive edition to be added to the ancient championship series, which has recorded in its history the participation of a large number of champions of the game at the international level.
       The 2023 edition will bring together players from Kuwait, Finland, Hong Kong, Iceland, Lithuania, Bahrain, the Emirates, Malaysia, Sweden, in addition to Qatar.
       The Qatari national team is participating in the tournament with 20 players, 11 players in the men’s category, one player in the youth category, and 8 players in the junior category.
       The number of registered male and female players coming from abroad before the start of the competitions reached 34 male and female players, and the number is likely to increase as is usual in international bowling tournaments as the arrival and registration to participate continues throughout the period of official training and attempts.
       The QBF has allocated prizes totaling USD 105,900, with the USD 25,000 for the first place winner, USD 16,000 for the second place, USD 12,000, for the third place, USD 8,000 for the fourth place, and the fifth place winner will receive USD 6,000.
       The winners of places from 6th to 9th receive USD 3,000 each, from place tenth to 13th the winners receive USD 2,000 each, from place 14 to 16 the winner receives USD 1,500 each, and from place 17 to 20 each winner receives USD 1,100, from 21st to 24th place each winner receives USD 900, and finally each winner in places from 25th to 32nd receives a sum of USD 800.
