Azerbaijan’s Mine Action Agency: 52 unexploded ordnances neutralized in liberated territories over past week

Baku, December 5, AZERTAC “During the mine-clearing operations in Tartar, Aghdam, Shusha, Khojavand, Lachin, Fuzuli, Gubadli, Jabrayil and Zangilan districts, 4 anti-personnel, as well as 52 unexploded ordnances (UXOs) were found and neutralized from November 28 to December 3,” Azerbaijan’s Mine Action Agency said in a statement. “As a result, 117 hectares were cleared of mines and UXOs,” the agency added.
