AZERTAC joins media tour to China’s Jining city, hometown of Confucius

Jining, July 29, AZERTAC China’s Shandong Provincial government and China Radio International (CRI) have organized a joint media tour for foreign media representatives to Jining, the hometown of ancient Chinese philosopher Confucius, in east China's Shandong Province. Azerbaijan was represented by the employee of Azerbaijan State News Agency (AZERTAC), with journalists from South Korea, Japan, Italy and other countries all joining the tour to find out more about rich Chinese culture and Confucius’s legacy. During the tour, the journalists familiarized themselves with the rare samples of Chinese culture exhibited in the Jining Museum. They also viewed the Han Dynasty stone carvings in Jiaxiang County, as well as the Chinese cultural heritage and national art exhibition in Zoucheng city of Shandong province. The journalists also visited the Temple and Cemetery of Confucius and the Kong Family Mansion in Qufu, the legendary birthplace of the great Chinese philosopher and educator Confucius.
