Uganda president arrives in Tehran

Uganda President Yoweri Museveni heading a high ranking delegation arrived in Tehran on Friday afternoon and was welcomed at the airport by Minister of Agriculture Mohammad Reza Eskandari.

He will be officially welcomed Saturday morning by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
Ambassador of Uganda in Tehran Mohammad Ahmad Kissule told reporters at the airport that there exists good cooperation between his country and Iran.
He said President Musevini's visit is the beginning of economic developments between Tehran and Kampala.
Power plants and investment of Iran's private sector in Uganda are among issues to be discussed during President Musevini's visit.
