Oman keen to boost trade, tourism cooepration with Iran

Omani Minister of Tourism Rajiha bint Abd al-Amir bin Ali voiced Oman’s readiness Wednesday to magnificently foster trade and tourism cooepration with Iran’s central province of Yazd.

Speaking in a joint press conference with the provincial Governor Mohammad-Reza Fallahzadeh, the Omani minister said holding joint exhibitions on various fields would help boost bilateral cooperation.

The Omani minister arrived in Yazd on May 11 heading a delegations to discussed issues of mutual interest with provincial officials.

Meanwhile, the Iranian official, said that a letter of understanding was signed by the two sides to promote Iran-Oman trade ties and their bilateral cooperation on tourism.

Fallahzadeh hoped for increasing expansion of Tehran-Muscat relations.
