Syria keen to promote economic ties with Iran
Deputy Syrian Prime Minsiter Abdullah al-Dardari Tuesday evening voiced his country's readiness to promote economic ties, the level of which is lower than expected, with Iran.
Al-Dardari, currently in the historical city of Isfahan, made the remarks in his meeting with staff members of Isfahan's Chamber of Commerce.
The Syrian official called on Iranian companies to make more investments in different development projects in Syria.
Meanwhile, deputy provincial governor for planning Ali-Reza Saleh praised the existing great potentials in both states.
He underscored the need for further expansion of trade relations between the two states.
