Full production line of Samand to open in Syria
The first full production line of the national Iranian automobile, Samand, manufactured by the giant automaker Iran Khodro, will be inaugurated in Syria in near future.
Head of the Syrian-Iranian Automotive Manufacturing Company (SIAMCO) said on Tuesday that the full production line will be inaugurated in the presence of Iranian and Syrian officials on May 7 in vicinity of Damascus, Syria.
Hossein Moqis said the full process of prodution including body, paint and final assembling of the automobiles will be performed in SIAMCO plant.
SIAMCO launched in March 2007 the assembly line of Samand ‘Shaam’ production line in Syria.
