Sakura festival shows off Japanese art and culture

Hanoi (VNA) - An exhibition of Japanese art works is being held at Hanoi Fine Arts College during the three-day Sakura festival, which ends on April 12.

The exhibition features 146 Japanese paintings in oil-paint and acrylic, said artist
Le Anh Van, Hanoi Fine Arts College's principal. "Landsclape, nature beauty and
special sakura (cherry blossom) are the main subjects of Japanese artists."

In addition, there are calligraphic works on display at the exhibition, which
marks the fourth Osaka Art Show of International Selections.-Enditem
