Friendship medal awarded to outgoing Vietnamese Ambassador
(KPL) Dr. Thongloun Sisoulith, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs awarded yesterday on behalf of the Lao government a friendship medal to Vietnamese Ambassador Mr Nguyen Huy Quang who just finished his four year diplomatic mission in Laos.
The presentation of friendship medal to Ambassador Nguyen Huy Quang was to express thanks and gratitude to the government and people of Vietnam for their great help and assistance to the government and people of Laos in the social-economic development.
It was also to acknowledge his efforts and contribution to enhance the traditional special friendship relation and all round co-operation between the two parties, states and people of Laos and Vietnam.
