Laos, Cambodia further cooperation on banking
(KPL) The Bank of the Lao PDR Governor Mr Phouphet Khamphuvong last week held a bilateral meeting with the National Bank of Cambodia in Phnom Penh.
Mr Phouphet signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Mr Chea Chanto Governor of the National Bank of Cambodia and witnessed by high-ranking officials of both sides.
This MoU constitutes important for both sides to enhance their relations and cooperation. Annually the two national central banks conduct visit exchange, hold bilateral meeting on their cooperation on human resources development and lesson exchange on dept clearance.
The cooperation of both sides also covers areas of border trade, bank-related information exchange and the investment in banking.
